Introducing FarmShift: Precision Farming II

May 23, 2014 (Winnipeg, MB) – Big Data. Connectivity. Pinpoint accuracy. Most growers now have the tools to capture a wide range of valuable data. But are they using the data to help achieve their goals and make decisions? What is keeping them from doing so? What is needed to move to the next step?

FarmShift: Precision Farming II is a quantitative and qualitative research study with western Canadian farmers designed to:

  • Get a read on the current concerns, challenges and aspirations of growers as they implement precision farming.

  • Track trends and adoption since the first Precision Farming study in 2011.

  • Focus on data issues - including what’s being done with it (if anything), who they have turned to for advise/assistance, storage, transmission, and data sharing.

  • Identify critical success factors for growers that have implemented precision farming practices.

  • Identify hindrances and barriers among those who have tried and have not met with success.

The early bird pricing deadline is June 13! There is also limited space available for proprietary questions, on a first-come first-served basis.
