FarmShift: Future of Corn and Future of Soybeans reports are now available!

January 28, 2015 (Winnipeg, MB)

Previous research has shown that two-thirds of western Canadian farmers are highly interested in growing corn and/or soybeans once breeding efforts develop suitable hybrids and varieties. How do growers assess these emerging opportunities, what are their decision drivers? What do they perceive the advantages and disadvantages of each crop to be? How is a transition to corn and soybeans likely to take place?

Via a series of focus groups with prairie farmers, the Future of Corn and the Future of Soybean examines how adoption of these two crops may occur in western Canada.

The insight these studies provide is a must-have for organization that need to formulate well-researched long-term strategic plans and investment priorities.
